While I strive for perfection in the workshop occasionally all doesn't go to plan - so here is a batch of board butter with the same ingredients made to the original recipe, but these didn't quite make the grade. These tins are the rejects and can have one or more issues - old labelling, over filled, have set with surface imperfections, tin with a little dent, some with no labels.

Board Butter - this food safe finish protects and nourishes your timber chopping, serving boards and utensils. Made by me using carnauba wax and natural oils.  

Put some of the butter onto a lint free cloth, rub over the surface of the area to be covered, leave to sink in and then buff off. Repeat as required.
